The expert of LandOcean academician workstation, Academician Tong Xiaoguang, provided field guide of the research work of project “Analysisof Deep Water Pre-salt Reservoir Forming Conditions and Optimizing Project of Exploration Target in West Africa” on October 28.

The deep water pre-salt reservoir of West Africa is a key focus area of CNOOC international company, it is also the hot spot area of growing oil and gas reserves in the future. The project leader Mr. Rui Zhifeng reported the project progress to Academician Tong in 6 aspects, from former research, processing and interpretation of gravity and magnetic data, structural feature to sedimentary reservoir, simulation of oil-gas migration and accumulation, and potential evaluation. Academician Tong fully affirmed the work of project group and gave detail interpretation of late-stage study and application.

The visit of Academician Tong practiced the “Get advices from the intellectual resources of academician and expert, focus on increasing the capability of independent innovation and development of high level technical talent, enhances market competitiveness”.
